Habitat for Humanity Kelowna is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit, faith-based housing organization. Our volunteers and community sponsors help build decent, affordable housing which is sold to qualifying low-income working families with no down payment and no interest charged. Our partner families also provide hundreds of hours of “sweat equity” and their mortgage payments help build more houses. The Kelowna affiliate was founded in 1992 and we have made home ownership possible for 20 families to date. HFH Kelowna serves Kelowna, West Kelowna and Lake Country in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. We also sponsor a Chapter in the nearby city of Vernon.
